These personal collage works were a way for me to create more spontaneously while keeping the same vintage-meets-modern aesthetic found in my paintings. I wanted to explore a different medium—one that offered speed, playfulness, and a touch of quirky storytelling.
Many of the materials came from antique markets and estate sales, where I sourced old magazines, postcards, manuals, and ephemera. It felt only natural that they’d find a second life in collage. The entire series was exhibited at a local boutique gift shop that featured works by independent artists. Most of the pieces were sold, and a few now hang proudly in a collector’s home in the U.S.
